Prithwe Courses

The courses at Prithwe Institue of Research & development are divided into ten relevant sections, of durations varying from a few days to a month.

Research would be done as per their choice of interest, with hands-on practice in their area of specialization.?

1)?Bio-architecture, Biomimicry, Bionic Architecture
The art and science of designing buildings and living spaces helps to expand the awareness of bio-architectural design. The subject covers the psychological process of interaction between man and his environment and how to design buildings better for its occupants.

2)?Traditional Indian Architecture
Our historic architecture, which we so much revere has retained its vitality and lasted for many centuries. The science behind these architectural wonders deals with the manifestation of subtle energy into various space and forms. This science of ancient Indian architecture teaches us the optimum use of spatial qualities. This traditional Indian architecture has proven that selection of site, use of healthy building materials and constructing buildings (temples, palaces, forts, etc.) has not only contributed towards happiness and prosperity of the inhabitants but also contributed to the environmental balance of the surrounding area. These principles can be understood in the modern context and integrated to form the building designs of the future. The study is of immense importance and useful for practicing architects.

3)?Healthy building techniques-
Building professionals need to diagnose and predict how a particular building is going to affect human health and environment and prescribe right strategies to minimize its impact. Learning the harmful effects of our common building materials and using sustainable design and construction methods to represent this process.

4)?Building biology & building Psychology-
Bio-inspiration engineered from the natural design of the human body and how it balances its energy grid along with that of the environmental energy, to mitigate the risks of health from electromagnetic emissions in various places like home, office and school.

5)?Geopathy and Earth Science-
The study of Earth energies and their effect on human well-being makes the study of this field very important. How the invisible and harmful radiations coming from the earth and of cosmic origin have harmful effects on physical and mental health of human beings, is part of the study.

6)?Vedic Town Planning Reinterpretation
Ancient excavations sites show a degree of urban planning. Great Indian architects like Vishwakarma have passed on plenty of information on Vedic town planning, keeping in mind the importance of living in harmony with nature. Massive destruction of our environment in the name of advancement creates the need of reinterpretation of this ancient science in our modern life.
7)?Permaculture and Organic Farming
Crop rotation, green manure, compost and biological pest control is the form of agriculture that relies on organic farming techniques using natural fertilizers and pesticides and strictly limiting the use of manufactured (synthetic) fertilizers, pesticides (which include herbicides, insecticides and fungicides), plant growth regulators such as hormones, livestock antibiotics, food additives, genetically modified organisms, human sewage sludge, and nano materials. Organic agriculture is a production system that sustains the health of soils, ecosystems and people. It relies on ecological processes, biodiversity and cycles adapted to local conditions, rather than the use of inputs with adverse effects. Organic agriculture combines tradition, innovation and science to benefit the shared environment and promote fair relationships and a good quality of life for all involved. Use of this form of agriculture that works in harmony with nature is a sustainable alternative to destructive farming practices of the present day.

8)?Monumental and Temple Architecture
How monumental architecture found in early civilization can be fused with the modern day architectural elaborations and calculations, forms the basis of the study.

9)?Dance, Music and Art of Listening
Music, dance, drama and visual arts occupy central place in ancient civilization. Evidence from our ancient civilization and Vedas prove that every sound generated in the Universe has great impact on human mind, body and its surroundings. Basis of listening, for understanding, for motivation and for memory are instrumental in forming another subject for our study.

10)?Arts, Crafts and Shilp Shastra
Symbols and images represent philosophical principles in form of visual art, as an expression to inspire our spiritual dimension. Craft is visible in our customs and traditions since ancient time in form of various wooden antiques.
